As I remember it Coffee, no-one wished for or anticipated Grant until rumours just before he was appointed. Certainly I didn't wish for him as our manager although I must admit to being impressed after news came out. I was actually expecting the likes of McCleish or similar...

Willtell, that's not true. There were loads on here at that time baying for him to be sacked. I don't remember hearing too much discontent when Grant was appointed. A few moans and grans maybe, but nothing that could have anticipated what lay ahead.
